Your son does not need a foreskin. It serves absolutely no useful purpose. Indeed
his penis will function much better without it. Removing this troublesome piece of
skin will do him no harm whatsoever.
If the glans is left permanently exposed to the air then no smegma is produced, there
is nowhere for urine to be trapped, and nowhere for germs and bacteria to breed.
However, as soon as the glans is covered, smegma starts to collect under the skin.
Stale urine will mix with the smegma to form a very unpleasant yellowish, fishy,
cheesy paste that is the perfect breeding ground for germs and bacteria. Unless you
have your son circumcised, he will have to needlessly put up with this every day,
for the rest of his life.
Since your son does not need a foreskin, there is absolutely no good reason why it
should not be removed. Once removed, and the glans exposed to the air, he won’t produce
smegma anymore and his penis will remain clean, dry and hygienic, every minute of
every day and night, for the rest of his life. Why would you not want that for him?
The bottom line is, if you don’t have your son circumcised, it will be impossible
for him to keep his penis clean and hygienic no matter how hard he might try. He
will only have a short period of time just after he retracts and cleans under his
foreskin during his bath or shower when it will be clean. For something like 22 out
of the next 24 hours, his penis will get covered in ever increasing amounts of smegma
and breed ever more and more germs and bacteria.
Just a couple of hours a day in which to enjoy a reasonably clean penis, is most
unsatisfactory. To force this on your son, when there is a perfectly simple solution,
is in my opinion highly irresponsible, in fact it’s bordering on cruelty.
But if you have him circumcised, then in addition to his penis always being hygienic,
the smooth, rounded exposed glans will look so much nicer than the ugly anteater
like wrinkly foreskin of the unhygienic penis. Surely you would prefer your son to
have the nicer looking penis as well?
